In honour of World Book Day (5 March), The Book Club Forum is pleased to announce The Big Book Swap!

The Rules:
1. Anyone who would like to take part in The Big Book Swap must post their interest, their location, and whether they will only send to members in their own country, or whether they are willing to send worldwide in this thread no later than 21 February. It’s important to post your location as not everyone has it in their profile!

2. On 22nd February, a list will be posted here detailing everyone’s “Swap Buddies”. If an odd number of members take part, a list will be posted showing who will post to who, rather than a straight swap.

3. All books being swapped must be paperback (to keep postage costs as low as possible) and in decent condition (i.e. all pages intact and clearly readable). Some reading wear is to be expected (you don’t have to send out a brand new book!), but do make sure the book is something that can be read and enjoyed by the recipient member. It is up to the sender which book they wil send – it’s a nice surprise!

4. All books must be posted out no later than Monday 2nd March in order that the books have a good chance of reaching their destination by World Book Day (5th March).

5. Please get proof of postage when sending the books – just in case they go astray in the mail.

6. Please post to say the book has arrived safely – it’s only polite!

7. This is open to all forum members with 25 posts or more.

8. Any younger members wishing to take part are asked to please get permission from your parents first. This is purely for your parents’ peace of mind as although WE know we’re lovely people, your parents may not know us from Adam and may prefer you not to give your address to strangers on the internet.

All you have to do is register your interest on the forum thread HERE.
